Often up to 500 points can be awarded, please check with whom you are registered for their guidelines on how many points they award for online courses, as they all differ. To give you an example: FHT, Thinktree and others who accredit and approve our courses award CPD points to all distance learning online courses but they all award different amounts of points, no two professional bodies are the same. This is why when you check with the professional body you are with, they will be happy to let you know what’s awarded as we cannot set the number of CPD points, this is done by the accreditation bodies themselves.

The A&P accrediting bodies online exam consists of 100 multiple choice questions and you have 2 hours to complete it. There will be four answers to choose from in each question, with only one being correct. The pass mark is 50%. Students can be sent the links to both the mock exam and the final exam as quickly as they wish.

We do not give a timeframe on how long it takes to complete the course as it depends on how much time the student has to study, however, if they already have A&P knowledge, technically they can request the link to sit the online exam as soon as they have paid in full.

The ITEC A&P exam consists of 50 multiple choice questions and you have an hour to complete it. There will be four answers to choose from in each question, with only one being correct. The pass mark is 50%. You will also need to be on a Zoom call throughout the ITEC exam for observation purposes. Your tutor, an ITEC invigilator and other students will be on the call but you will be on silent, not need to say anything and can carry out your exam in peace and quiet in your own home.

After paying your initial deposit, you will receive a course confirmation within 24 hours from your course tutor. This will contain full course details and further payment information.

You will then be required to set up an instalment plan or make payment in full to your tutor. Once your tutor has received the initial course payment or payment in full, you will receive an email notification and link to the online material.

You can either choose between the ITEC qualification or professional body recognition, which is also a level 3 qualification, both of which are fully recognised and insurable qualifications.

The certificate does not state virtual or actual classroom learning.
