Hello, my name is Sue Bailey, thank you for visiting our site. I am the Director, Owner and Founder of Gateway Workshops, and this has been my passion for over 25 years!

Gateway is the UK & Ireland's Leading Award Winning School for Massage & Beauty Professional Courses. Trusted, Recognised & Insurable Courses on Government/Councils Approved Accredited list.

Established in 1998 and Award Winner 'Best Training School' 5 years in a row, training thousands of therapists each year. Largest UK Training School with Accredited Courses with ITEC, FHT, CTHA and also Towergate, ABT plus ThinkTree, International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine, World Metaphysical Association and Many others. We train Therapists and we also offer in-house training, we currently train all of Bobbi Brown's UK staff (and have done so for the past 3 years), Gleneagles 5 star Hotel and Spa Scotland, Make-up Artists at Large Filming Companies and Hollyoaks for Channel 4 and Top Hotels and Spas.

I was a therapist and then a tutor for over 8 years in London, teaching Indian head massage and Reiki/Seichem Healing, I enjoyed my time as a tutor and the students loved my high standards and care.

The feedback from students was that they were unhappy however with other schools and the lack of quality of their training. I was in contact with many excellent tutors that did not have the time or finances to promote themselves, I was asked for their contact details which took me on the next stage of my journey. I gave up teaching to dedicate all my time to starting a new school, that was back in 1998 and I have spent every year carefully selecting tutors to run the courses we offer, making sure high standards were the number one priority.

I built Gateway slowly with only a few tutors and just a handful of accredited courses to start with and now we have over 70 accredited courses and over 25 tutors!I am extremely proud of what I have built over the last twenty years and our feedback is wonderful from the thousands of students we teach.

We offer the personal touch with high standards; we also offer affordable courses and fantastic aftercare by tutors with great passion for what they do. We all love our jobs and this reflects in the courses you will receive.
