What level teaching qualification do I need?

After taking the course can I certify my own students?
Once you have gained this level 3 Award in Education and Training you will be qualified to teach whatever you are trained in. You can then write your own courses and go through the accreditation process with the awarding bodies of your choice.
Once your course has been accredited and approved by the awarding bodies, you can then run your course and certify your own students.
Your tutor can answer any questions that you have regarding this and will guide you as needed. We have had hundreds of students who have taken this course so they can write and offer their own training courses and who have gone on to be very successful tutors offering courses they have written themselves, providing these to the general public.

If you wanted to work within colleges, some colleges and educational establishments require the level 4 as a minimum, but some are fine with the level 3.
Most of our students who take the Level 3 AET set up on their own, and then continue to level 5 if they feel that they want further teaching qualifications.
You do not need to do the level 4 before taking the level 5. The levels 4 and 5 require you to do practical teaching hours, so these are best undertaken when you are in a teaching role.
